Our Featured Pet...
Easy D got his name because he's a laid back easy type dog. We believe he is a Shepherd maybe Jindo mix and he is beautiful! He has the most soulful eyes and just loves life. He was found by the side of the road in the country tied to a rock in the middle of a thunderstorm. He was not in good shape, his ears were split and he was skinny and full of parasites. He has undergone heartworm treatment and is doing quite well. He loves other dogs! He does have some scarring on his face from the rough time in his life, but he will win your heart with his lust for life and joy at being alive!

Who We Are
We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agency's to investegate cases of cruelty and neglect. We have a large facility and staff that is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
Adopting a friend
All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 6 months of free day care at A Dog's Fun Playce (a $2,700.00 value) plus a lifetime of free obedience classes at A Dog's Fun Playce (2 classes per year maximum). All dogs adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered prior to their release.
Come Visit Us!
We are housed inside of A Dog's Fun Playce located just north of 79th Street on Wornall Road. We are open 7 days a week. Hours of operation are 7am to 6pm Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm Sat and 9am to 4pm Sunday. If you wish to meet one of our dogs in person the best time to do so is between Noon and 2pm every day. PLEASE CALL AHEAD however as some of our animals are in foster homes and may not be in the facility every day.
